Introducing: Alegria, a small Criollo mare, with a dun gene, born in 2011. She was given to us in 2015 as a 4 year old that hadn’t been ridden yet. She arrived with Yankee. (See his description below). Naturally, Alegria has a lot of energy, and is very forward going. She is dominant by nature, and needs a good leader.
Alegria enjoys liberty, bareback and bridle-less riding with several horses, and she loves carrying kids around. She is excellent to handle and puts a lot of effort into everything she does. She loves to jump, sit, lie down, and she is fearless. In 2019, we put her in foal to a purebred Lusitano stallion called Gritto, owned by Arnaldo Bastos. In January 2020, her first foal, Saphira was born.
